This special issue aims to shed light on evidence-based psychological interventions that can support professional decision-making, by improving efficiency, reducing risks, and minimising side effects. It also aims to explore evidence-based practices that can inform public policy at the population level, helping to optimize healthcare resource allocation for the prevention and treatment of these conditions. Accordingly, this special issue seeks contributions that explore evidence-based strategies for prevention, treatment, and policy to reduce the impact of behavioural addictions.
